ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
(Temporary, Full-time)

 

Parkland County has a Temporary, Full-Time summer position available for fourteen (14) weeks from May 7 to August 10, 2012. This is a developmental position appropriate for post-secondary students looking for experience in an office environment. Reporting to the Manager, Legislative & Administrative Services Department, you will perform special projects and provide administrative support to the Department. The Administrative Clerk will assist in a variety of projects such as policy and bylaw management, Health & Safety and Information Systems related projects. This position involves word processing, data entry, filing, and telephone/public reception duties. Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing and research skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision and give attention to detail, is required.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • -Grade 12 Diploma supplemented by enrollment in a Business/Office Administration Certificate/Diploma program.
  • -Previous experience with office operations is an asset.
  • -Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Salary Range:

$18.61 per hour

Hours of Work:

7 hours/day; 35 hours/week
