The Cultivating Rural Relationships event took place Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Delta Edmonton South. The AAMDC was pleased to provide our members with this exciting, interactive opportunity with the PC leadership candidates. Leadership candidates Doug Horner, Gary Mar, Rick Orman, Ted Morton and Doug Griffiths shared their platforms and answered member questions. Candidate Alison Redford shared her platform through a video presentation. View the Leadership Event ToolkitCultivating Rural Relationships: Videos

This event was also the launch of the AAMDC's latest initiative: Rural Still Matters! Rural municipalities are more than just land banks--we are a vital part of this province's economy, culture and future. Long-term funding is a critical component of success and must acknowledge the unique needs of rural municipalities. Click here for more information--including key messages--and join the discussion. |
