The AAMDC welcomes two new faces to its staff and congratulates a current staffer on her new position.

We are pleased to introduce our new Communications and Web Coordinator, Isha Thompson. Isha is a former journalist and comes to us from the communications department at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Arts. Her responsibilities include coordinating various communication materials to our members, including Contact!, the AAMDC weekly newsletter. Denise Giles is also a new and welcomed addition to the AAMDC team as the Manager of Client Relations within the Aggregated Business Services division. Denise is working alongside Manager of Client Relations and Trade Stephen Tamayo, to manage marketing and retention strategies for ABS units and act as a referee for our approved suppliers, by ensuring that they offer our members the most competitive prices.

Finally, our Administrative and Convention Coordinator Tasha Blumenthal is now the newest Policy Analyst within the AAMDC Advocacy Department. Having excelled in her former role for the past two years, Tasha is making a smooth transition into covering resource based issues including; energy policy, the land-use framework and brownfields. Ministries that are included in her portfolio are; Agriculture and Rural Development, Water and Sustainable Resource Development, Environment, and Energy.
