Broadband Toolkit

The Broadband toolkit is designed to assist municipalities explore potential roles in delivering high-speed Internet to rural ratepayers. Potential roles are rated for viability and a subsequent business case is provided, dependant on a municipality's desired level of participation. The toolkit will also provide an approximation of the infrastructure needed to deliver internet service in your municipality.

Instructions

  • Click here to download "broadband_toolkit.exe" and save to your computer in "My Documents". (Please note: This is a large file, 9 MB, if you would prefer a CD copy mailed to you, please contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. )
  • Go to "My Documents" folder and Double-click the "broadband_install.exe" file to install the program,
  • It will create a folder called "broadband_toolkit" which will contain all the files you need.
  • To run the program, go into the "broadband_toolkit" folder and double-click the "broadband.exe" file.
