Advisory Services Print E-mail

Ever wonder where you'll find the resources to do strategic planning? The AAMDC Trade Division's Advisory Services can help!

Municipalities vary in their time, resources and capability to carry out new initiatives and provide internal services. To fill this gap, many municipalities are turning to consultants to support their municipal operations.

The AAMDC has established relationships with partners who provide services from human resources support to policy development to organizational services. Trade Division consulting services provides added benefits to our trade members through supplemented municipal capacity and quality assurance.

Our preferred partners can assist and supplement municipalities with consulting, technical and design services. Our current roster of partners can assist with:

  • Human resources support
  • Communications and writing
  • Grant administration
  • Policy development
  • Tendering practices
  • Organizational services
  • Graphic design and layout support
  • Information technology

Member Benefits

  • List of preferred consultants and vendors
  • Supplemented municipal capacity
  • Quality assurance
  • Member dividend

How Does It Work?

All Advisory Services partners have demonstrated a thorough understanding of municipal government. Members may decide to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to these partners exclusively or as part of a larger competition. Members must identify that they are using the partner through the AAMDC Trade Division's Advisory Services program.

The AAMDC Trade Division offers a dividend for member patronage. The more members utilize the service, the bigger the dividend returned. All billing for services go directly to the AAMDC. We in turn invoice the members as with all other trade services.

If you are interested in engaging one of our Advisory Services partners, contact them directly here or contact Duane Gladden at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
